My resolve so far to complete three books a friend kindly lent me this hols has resulted in an ambitious total of...a 1/3 of a book read. In a month. Sigh what's happening to my attention span?!

Holidays have been good. Waking up each day not really having a planned agenda and just going along with the family on more family outings (to museum! to IMM!) and lunches and teas, and more importantly, putting in more effort in getting acquainted with anna, my cherubic soon-to-be 15 month old niece. There's the squeamish giant in me that hesitates still in playing peekaboo with her or just being really freaked out when she starts screaming (in your ear no less) but she just opened her mouth two days ago, looked at me and said 'e..ee...' (:(: Of course, it could be just one big coincidence, but the optimist in me believes that ahah! an attempt! finally! to pronounce my name. I got so happy i started playing peekaboo with her in the car. The downside was that her giggles always came a fast two seconds late everytime i peekabooed at her. -.-

I am seriously not biased, but dont you think she's the cutest baby ever?! Anna's got the inevitable Tan nose, but her eyes are the biggest and prettiest and lidded with the nicest eyelids ever (:

Anna with her daddy eating her 1st birthday's chocolate cake

For HIS birthday, daddy only wanted a picture with his beloved granddaughter, not with the rest of his family :(

Some of cute hammy's favourite cute positions.

And finally, a teddy in my favourite colour sitting on my favourite boy. (:

Periods like these in your life - you know it makes it worth living for. How would one appreciate the total freedom in life unless one has emerged from suffocating school? Well...even if it's not too triumphantly. To not have an agenda to fulfill each day, to not have any single responsibility in the world (except to do qt) each morning when you wake up, to go to sleep anytime and anywhere knowing tomorrow will just bring more....sleep.

I love my freedom, and i promise i'm gonna enjoy each and every one of these three remaining periods of precious holidays before i finally have to enter working life. Yep, I think i can live with the fact that i may not live to see the words 'B.A (w hons.)' in my cert when i graduate. Of course i wont give up trying to pull up my grades..but i wont suffer and i wont die if eventually it doesnt happen.

C'est ma vie et je le mets dans les mains de Dieu. It's my life and i put it in God's hands.
